Willingness to Vaccinate against COVID-19 among Healthcare Workers: An Online Survey in 10 Countries in the Eastern Mediterranean Region

BACKGROUND: Willingness of healthcare workers to be vaccinated is an important factor considered for a successful COVID-19 vaccination programme. This study aims understand the willingness health receive vaccine and its associated concerns across 10 countries in Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMR). 
 METHOD: A cross-sectional was conducted January 2021 among EMR using online survey. Data were analyzed IBM SPSS software package version 20.0.
 RESULTS: total 2806 (physicians, nurses pharmacists) completed returned informed consent along with questionnaire electronically. More than half respondents (58.0%) willing vaccine, even if not mandatory them. On other hand, 25.7% take while 16.3 % undecided. The top three reasons unreliability clinical trials (62.0%), fear side effects (45.3%), that will give immunity long period time (23.1%). CONCLUSION: Overall, revealed suboptimal acceptance EMR. Significant refusal professionals can reverse hard-won progress building public trust program. findings suggest need develop tailored strategies address identified order ensure optimal
